Mulesoft what is flow? private flow? sub flow?

Hi This is akhila. This is my first article in Medium account

I am currently working in TCS. This is a small introduction to myself

Any point studio can consists of a single flow.

=>it can break up processing into discrete (private) flow and sub flow that you add to the any point studio and connect together. private flow can be triggered by flow-reference or by DataWeave lookup!

Flow:

A flow has “Source”, “Process”, and “Error Handling” part.

Remember: in Flow “Source” is must and should.

Private Flow:

A private flow has “Source”, “Process” and “error handling” part.

Remember: it is called private flow because “source” should be empty.

Sub Flow:

In sub flow, There is no “source” and “error handling” part.

it only has process part.

Error handling for sub flows are handled by the calling flow/private flow

Remember: it has only process part.
